Weekly open-water group swim on Saturdays at 08:00. Meet by the Avenue C tower and stairs on the south side, 1010 Esplanade, Redondo Beach. The group alternates distance swims up to 2 miles and ocean-circuit workouts; buddies and support are arranged for swimmers of different experience levels. A signed liability waiver is required, and swimmers must be able to swim 200 yards continuously in a pool, preferably 500 yards. Check current event details before going.
